The first Geocache in Italy! Nice surroundings. It's easy, only a short walk from a small country road. The idea was to put it directly on the parallel/meridian intersection of two integer degrees, however it ended up some 40 meters distant.

The cache should have been exactly at N37° / E15°, but the terrain proved to be unfortunate there. The place I found instead is more appropriate, I think. You can have the fun and walk over the remaining 40 meters to the exact N37 0' / E15° 0' Position. Contents in April 2001: ballpen, notebook, baseball cap, matches, candle, bulb, batteries, museum ticket, ferry keycard, 200 lira, 3 pfennig, shovel If you are on holiday, make sure to check out the greek remains in the area (Pallazolo for instance).
